Pros; These headphones are comfortable.
Cons;
1. Every time I pull the headphones off the charger rack and turn them on I have to wait for it to scan and find the signal. This can take several minutes. I can speed it up if I hit the scan button 25 times.
2. The Volume is too low, I have to turn up the tv volume at least 10 notches past its normal setting to hear through the phones.
3. After 2 weeks they quit working, errrr.

My husband is legally blind and loves to use these headphones to listen to books on tape. He likes the convenience of being able to walk around while in use.

I purchased the JVC headphones to replace a set of Bose I had for almost 10 years. I found the quality of sound to be as good as the older ones I had, if not slightly better. I have taken them outside and could still clearly hear my tv. I don't use them for any other appliance. I would recommend these to my best friends.

Sounds great in print, right? Just wait until you try to use it. Nothing but static, screeching -- absolutely NO clarity of sound. There is no such thing as a clear channel on this headset. If you have any electronics running: a fan, a computer, a tv ... or, if like me, you live in an apartment where the signals are flying all over ... forget it, you won't get a good channel. Now, if you're looking for over the ear headphones that are comfortable to wear and screech in your ear or bring in lots of white noise, these are the headphones for you! My husband has a Sony set that are amazing. These are absolutely horrible. Terrible purchase, and since hubby threw away the packaging, I'm stuck with them.
